Carpets & Rugs
Three steps to great style
Start with a floor plan
What’s your arrangement? Choose a layout and measure for your rug based on the space you’d like to fill. Here are some popular layouts that work for most spaces:
In a nursery or smaller space, a 5’ round works well placed under a single object like a rocking chair to create a cozy space around you. Alternatively, try placing it off center to the crib.
Tucked under the bed, a 4’ x 6’ or 5’ x 8’ works great paired with a Twin or Double bed. Shift the rug as needed to ensure at least a foot is at the base of the bed.
Use a larger 5’ x 8’ or 8’ x 10’ to create a base for your child’s play space. Have fun with the placement of furniture to maximize the space for “free” play on the rug.
Our rugs aren’t just for kids! They can look great in a living space too. Determine your best size by ensuring all the legs of your sofas or primary furniture are covered.
Choose Your Size
Once you’ve decided on your layout, it’s time to select the size and design of your rug. Pehr makes it easy to plan ahead by sending you a swatch.

Care & Clean
Now it’s time to care for your investment piece. Here are a few simple tips to preserve your rug for the long term.
Using a rug pad extends the wear and life of your rug. This adds a layer of cushioning and keeps your rug in place.
Wool and Shedding
Shedding is normal process with rugs and happens when it’s first brought home & gradually fades away. As your rug settles in, do not pull loose or protruding ends; neatly clip with a pair of scissors.
